Totally Hanoi is a new travel guide focused entirely on Hanoi, Vietnam — one of Southeast Asia's most rewarding cities, and one we think deserves better coverage than a few paragraphs inside a country-wide guidebook.
Why start now?
Rather than launching with a huge, rushed site, we're starting with a focused set of guides covering the essentials — the main sights, food, neighbourhoods and practical planning info — and adding to it every week from here. We'd rather ship fewer pages that are genuinely useful than thousands that aren't.

We try to be specific and honest rather than generic — including telling you when something isn't worth the detour, not just what is. If you spot something out of date, we'd genuinely like to know.
